Teens
The teen years are full of growth, discovery, and change—and they often come with a wide range of emotions and challenges. During this stage of life, many teens experience stress, anxiety, depression, shifts in self-esteem, and the complexities of navigating social dynamics. Questions about identity, future planning, family relationships, romantic connections, competition, and performance pressures can all feel overwhelming. Add in the inherent challenges of technology and social media, and it can be difficult to know where to turn.
Therapy can offer a safe, supportive space to explore and process these experiences. It is a place where you can be yourself, make mistakes, try different things on, and build practical coping skills. Together, we focus on developing emotional awareness, resilience, and confidence while deepening understanding of who you are, who you want to be, and what you hope to gain from your relationships and future.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and respectful of your unique voice and perspective. I work to create an environment where you can be vulnerable, brave, and feel deep belonging to yourself and the world around you.
Life Transitions
Life transitions can bring uncertainty, pain, excitement, and fear — often all at the same time. You may be moving, switching careers, going through a divorce, becoming an empty nester, ending a relationship or starting a new one, graduating, or retiring. Sometimes there is simply a big decision ahead, and the path forward feels unclear. Even positive changes can stir up grief, doubt, and overwhelm.
Therapy can provide a steady space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what this transition means for you. Together, we explore the emotions that change brings, clarify what truly matters to you, and support you in living more fully into your values. Rather than rushing to “figure it all out,” we focus on helping you navigate uncertainty with greater self-trust, intention, and compassion.
My goal is to support you through these periods of change so they feel less destabilizing and more like opportunities for growth and alignment. Whether you are facing loss, reinvention, or a crossroads moment, therapy can help you process the complexity of the experience, strengthen resilience, and intentionally build a life that feels meaningful, grounded, and worth living.
Complex Trauma
Many people who have experienced complex trauma carry invisible wounds that shape how they see themselves, others, and the world. You may feel constantly on edge, disconnected from your body, caught in patterns that don’t make sense, or overwhelmed by emotions that seem to come out of nowhere. Relationships may feel confusing or unsafe, and even when life looks “stable” on the outside, internally you may be struggling with shame, fear, or a persistent sense of not being enough. These responses are not flaws — they are adaptations that once helped you survive.
I approach complex trauma through an integrative lens that includes attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic therapy. Together, we explore how early relational experiences shaped your nervous system, beliefs, and protective patterns. We gently identify and understand the different “parts” of you that developed to cope with pain, while honoring the wisdom behind each one. At the same time, we work with the body to increase safety, regulation, and present-moment awareness so that healing is not only cognitive, but deeply embodied.
Therapy is a collaborative, compassionate process where we move at a pace that feels safe and respectful of your history. Rather than forcing change, we focus on building internal safety, strengthening self-trust, and creating new experiences of connection — both within yourself and in your relationships. Over time, this work can help reduce reactivity, soften shame, and allow more space for authenticity, choice, and self-compassion.
Couples Therapy
Do you ever feel stuck in the same cycles and unsure how to get out? You are doing your best to communicate, but your partner just doesn’t seem to understand. Perhaps there has been a betrayal and the path to healing feels unclear. Maybe you find yourselves functioning more like roommates or business partners and wonder how you got here — or how to become something more again. Or your relationship may feel “fine,” yet you long for something deeper, more connected, and more alive. You are not alone.
I offer a safe, supportive space to navigate the messy, challenging, painful, lonely, passionate, intimate, and beautiful realities of being in a relationship. Together, we slow down the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, help each partner feel heard, seen, and understood, and create new ways of connecting that foster trust, emotional safety, and genuine closeness.
My work integrates Relational Life Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to identify underlying dynamics, repair injuries, and build practical, sustainable relationship skills. Whether you are healing from betrayal, navigating ongoing conflict, or simply wanting a more meaningful and connected partnership, therapy can help you move from reactive or avoidant cycles toward deeper understanding, connection, and lasting change.
